D.2 Notes on programming
s The LSB of the backup PC
The LSB of backup PC can be seen as "1" when the conditions below occur simultaneously, however, this
is a temporary phenomena and "0" is always written to the LSB (D31) of the backup PC. Operation
continues normally afterwards.
the write operation to BPC and the read operation from BPC are executed sequentially in the E-stage

When a read operation immediately after a write operation from the same register is executed, the "bypass
scheme" comes into operation; this is because the written value itself is read out (not that from the
register). This phenomena does not occur in the case that another instruction is executed in the E-stage
between the MVTC and the MVFC instructions (the example refers to the case without another instruction
being executed in the E-stage between MVTC and MVFC instructions).
