Notes 1: The external bus master (master M32000D3FP or external DMAC) downloads the program.
2: The slave M32000D3FP starts operation when an INT or SBI signal is input. Return the EI request
input to an "H" level after starting the slave M32000D3FP.
When starting the M32000D3FP in slave mode after reset or after returning from standby mode,
the interrupt request is always accepted when an "L" level signal of 1 CLKIN width is input to the
INT pin or SBI pin, because they are continously monitored.
3: The shaded area indicates the undefined state. "Hi-z" means high-impedance and
indicates
sampling timing.
7.2 Slave mode operation
7.2.1 Starting M32000D3FP in slave mode
When set to slave mode, the M32000D3FP does not execute instruction fetch operations to the reset vector
(address H'7FFF FFF0) even after a reset. Input the interrupt request to start execution of slave M32000D3FP
operations.
After a reset, the master M32000D3FP or an external DMAC downloads a program to the slave M32000D3FP
then, when an EI or SBI is input, the slave M32000D3FP starts operation. In this case, the IE bit in the
PSW register is "0", however, the first external interrupt (EI) to start the slave M32000D3FP is accepted.
The start address for each input is as follows.
EI: execute from address H'00000080
SBI: execute from address H'00000010
In either case, the EIT processing (hardware pre-processing and hardware post-processing) is executed.
Before executing the RTE instruction, set the return address in the BPC (to the top address of the program
to be executed) and the PSW register value to be used by the program to the BPSW filed in the PSW
register.
