6.1 DRAM Types and Available DRAM Address Area
The LR4500 Microprocessor reference device interfaces directly to
synchronous DRAMs, without any glue logic, through a 64-bit memory
data bus. When the DRAM is arranged in two banks, the chip select
signals, MCSn[1:0], select between the two banks.
Table 6.1
shows different DRAM configurations and the address ranges
assigned to the memory banks. There is no programmable feature that
defines the DRAM size and configuration. The utility setup/bootstrap
