Instructions of this class allow comparison of num-
bers of all supported real and integer data types.
Each of these instructions analyzes the top stack
element often in relationship to another operand and
reports the result as a condition code in the status
word.

3.1.4 TRANSCENDENTAL INSTRUCTIONS
This group of the Intel387 operations includes trigo-
nometric, inverse trigonometric, logarithmic and ex-
ponential functions. The transcendental operate on
the top one or two stack elements, and they return
their results to the stack. The trigonometric opera-
tions assume their arguments are expressed in radi-
ans. The logarithmic and exponential operations
work in base 2.

3.1.5 LOAD CONSTANT INSTRUCTIONS
Each of these instructions loads (pushes) a com-
monly used constant onto the stack. The constants
have extended real values nearest to the infinitely
precise numbers. The only error that can be gener-
ated is an Invalid Exception if a stack overflow oc-
curs.
