Filter Inhibit
Clearing the HFE bit in Group 6, Register 29 of the display controller
inhibits the interpolation lter. If the lter is inhibited but the scale factor
register is not set to zero, the output is unltered. Inhibiting the lter does
not effect the data output delay. The lter is automatically inhibited during
the VBI interval.
6.4.5
Video Data and
OSD
The video data path and OSD data path are separate. Filtering functions
on the video data do not lter the OSD data. The resolution of the OSD
data does not affect the resolution of the video data.

Display Control
Parameters
The timing of the raster produced by the L64005 is programmable to
account for the large number of possible display resolutions, line rates,
input clocks, frame rates, and scanning modes.
The L64005 can be programmed to produce a standard sync pulse train
and raster data for a large number of display types over its operating
range. It can also be programmed to operate in slave mode, in which the
device is slaved to an external sync source.
