This bit provides storage for the ninth bit in the transmit data byte (if M = 1).
M — Mode (select character format)

0 = 1 start, 8 data, 1 stop bit
1 = 1 start, 8 data, ninth data, 1 stop bit
WAKE — Wake Up by Address Mark/Idle
Read: anytime

0 = wake up by IDLE line recognition
1 = wake up by address mark (8th or 9th -last- data bit set)
