OOFV:
The OOFV bit reflects the current status of the out of frame defect. The OOF defect is
declared when four consecutive frames have one or more bit error in their framing pattern.
The OOF defect is cleared when two error free framing pattern are found.
LOFV:
The LOFV bit reflects the current status of the loss of frame defect. The LOF defect is
declared when an out of frame condition exists for a total period of 3 ms during which there is
no continuous in frame period of 3 ms. The LOF defect is cleared when an in frame condition
exists for a continuous period of 3 ms.
LOSV:
The LOSV bit reflects the current status of the loss of signal defect. The LOS defect is
declared when 20 μs of consecutive all zeros pattern is detected. The LOS defect is cleared
when two consecutive error free framing patterns are found and during the intervening time
(one frame) there is no violating period of consecutive all zeros pattern.
