4.3 CONTROL SIGNAL TIMING
This section explains bus lock timing and bus hold timing.
4.3.1 Bus Lock
The bus can be locked by encoding its status to prevent, its use by a non-V830 bus master. Bus locking
is applied whenever a CAXI instruction is executed. During lock word access with the CAXI instruction, the
status is as follows:
The bus locked status is output to the status lines in sync with the beginning of a read cycle (BCYST
active).
The bus locked status changes in sync with the end of the last write cycle.
The bus lock timing chart (CAXI instruction execution) is given below.
