15. Linked channels
The linkage feature allows to channels to share the same Message area, the message pointer and the message length
assumes this property:
Zero value as message length (
M_L [4:0]
-
base_address + 0x03
) declares the channel linked to another channel.
The number of this other channel is defined in the message pointer field (
M_P [6:0]
-
base_address + 0x02
).
The pointer and the length values for the Message area are defined only once time, in the register set of this other
Channel.
Only one level of linkage can be created. This means, (see Figure 31. ) a Channel k can be linked to the Channel i but
not to Channel j, already defined as linked to Channel i.
All the others can be different between the two channels, for example the ID_Tag.

special communications between the different nodes of the network.
