The amount of high frequency boost provided by the transmit-
ter is determined by both the output and preemphasis level
settings.
Table 14 provides an example of how the absolute output and
preemphasis level settings determine the amount of high
frequency boost at the Tx output. Note that the OLEV setting
refers to the main tap output current and the PE setting refers to
the delayed tap current.
