Manual_Enum_withBinding Command

Description:
PE to newly attempt Enumeration, and also attempt Binding when suc-
cessfully Enumerated.
PE Operation:
PE to set IrDA Control communication status to UnEnumerated status.
PE to delete the Host information currently held.
PE to start Enumeration and to start Binding when successfully Enumer-
ated. If failed to be Enumerated, it stops and remain Unenumerated.
If USB Enumeration has not been completed with the Host device, it
immediately proceeds to Get_Descriptor procedure right after Binding.
Because of this procedure, there will be several 100 ms time delays for
the actual data transmission to the Host device. However, this Com-
mand allows users to complete all Get_Descriptor procedures related to
USB Enumeration, thus, no procedures related to the Descriptor is
required in executing next Send_Data_withAck or Send_Data Com-
mand, and will minimize the delays along with the data transmission.

is a selection
function by which the Peripheral device changes the Host device to be
enumerated in order. See IrDA Control Specifications for details.
Issuing this command (or Manual_Enum command) while the enumera-
tion completed allows the Peripheral device to change the Host device
by utilizing the
‘
Scan Mechanism
’
. Note that there may be a possibility of
having malfunctions under the environment where the multiple Host
devices exist, or the infrared data cannot be properly communicated.
