The above equations and calculations are supplied only as a
guide for the designer. In practical terms other factors will must
be considered, including the following:
Effective required voltage adjustment range of output
Losses in the primary side of the circuit, including the sense
resistor and the MOSFET voltage drops
Losses in the secondary side of the circuit, including dc
losses in the output choke
Forward voltage of the rectifier over load and temperature
Interconnection losses, including remote sense drops
OR-ing diode losses, if used in multiple converters.
