Resolution
: Analog variation that is recognized by an A/D converter.
Linearity error
: The deviation between the actual conversion characteristics and a straight line
connecting the device's zero transition point (“0000000000”
←→ “0000000001”) and
full scale transition point (“1111111110”
←→ “1111111111”).
Differential linear error : Deviation of input voltage, which is required for changing output code by 1 LSB, from
an ideal value.
Total error
: This error indicates the difference between actual and ideal values, including the zero
transition error/full-scale transition error/linearity error
