The board has been designed to be connectedto
the RS232 port of an IBM PC 386 (or higher), but
it canalsoworkstandalone.Inputsandoutputsare
providedatTTLcompatiblelevel. The boardallows
the user to charge the rules and the membership
functions(seeW.A.R.P.-SDTUserManual)intothe
W.A.R.P. memories.
It can manageup to 16 inputs and 16 outputs.
The clock generatorfrequencyon boardis 24MHz.
An automatic trigger is used to synchronize
W.A.R.P. with the external environment (working
connectedwith a PC).
Whenthe boardis used asa standalonedeviceall
the fuzzy data (membership functions and rules)
arestoredinEPROMs.Theboardallows thestand-
alone/PCworking tobeselectedbysettingaswitch
