Ringing Power Dissipation Off-Hook
Using the same formula as above and 300
as the off-hook load the result will indicate
several Watts of power dissipation. In that case the SLIC will limit the current to approx.
10 mA above the programmed ring-trip threshold, see Chapter 7.2. If the system do not
force the SLIC into Active the temperature guard will be activated and the detector
output, DET, will stay low.
