DESCRIPTION
The MB86602C is a differential transmission SCSI-II protocol controller (SPC) with controls the interface control
between the host computer and peripherals in intermediate and small computer systems. The specification are
based on the SCSI-II standard.
The MB86602C supports high speed synchronous transfer, MPU/DMA independent system data buses, and pro-
grammable commands to enable the construction of high performance systems.
Also, since it incorporates a sequence control functions for buses and phases, the host MPU overhead is lightened.
Henceforth, “SPC” refers to the MB86602C.
