by Polling is taking place between a Host and the IrDA Control Peripheral (opposite of unbound).
HC
s operation mode where simultaneous multiple infrared data transaction is supported for plu-
ral IrDA Control Peripherals. HC shares a single Endpoint over plural IrDA Control Peripherals
as if it has several Endpoints.
Critical Latency. One of the parameters used to categorize the attributes of the IrDA Control
Peripheral. (opposite of NCL).

provides optical through-air interface for IR signals.
