USB Requests
In general, USB devices respond to the USB request from the Host device through the con-
trol pipe, where the control transfer is applied for data transaction. In the IrDA Control sys-
tem, the USB Dongle starts data transmission with the setup packet. The HC supports the
control transfer and the interrupt transfer. The USB Dongle implemented by the Sharp HC
supports Standard Requests and HID Class Requests. Table 3 and Table 4 provide
descriptions for these Requests;
Standard Requests that HC supports are listed in Table 3.
HID Class Requests that HC supports are listed in Table 4.
