all hardware and software on hand. See system requirements in
Section 2.5.4.2
.
GSU31 Hardware Installation
See
Section 1.4, Install the Adapter Card

Intel Integrated RAID Software Installation
1. Install Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 to the desired boot device (IDE, SCSI).
2. After the NT installation is complete, install the following components and software:
—
Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 5 or greater
—
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.00 or greater
3. Install the GSU31 software (run the GSU31 setup).
Note:
You must have administrative level permissions to install GSU31 software. This
procedure assumes that the GSU31 hardware and Windows NT are installed and operational in
your system.
a. Insert the GSU31 CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive. If the Software Installation Main
Menu does not appear, then run the setup.exe file that resides at:
<CD-ROM root>\os_setup\winnt\setup.exe on the CD-ROM.

The three components in the window in
Figure 2-36
are preselected. Add the remote
storage console component by clicking on the remote storage console box.
Note:
The DMI and SNMP components are not selected by default. Refer to section
Section 4.2, Intel
