The Update Flash Utility provides a function for programming GSU31 firmware.

Recovery/Update Utility
Secondary method of updating the GSU31 firmware.
Advanced RAID Configuration
Utility
Used in place of the RAID Configuration Utility to create multiple RAID
volumes. Also enables the user to quickly view the GSU31 subsystem
without booting the operating system, for example, it ensures all attached
disks are recognized by the GSU31 adapter.
Production Firmware
Used in conjunction with the Recovery/Update Utility. This utility creates
the firmware diskette that contains the software (.bin file) that is loaded into
GSU31.
NetWare Installation
Create the Novell RAID Device Drivers for the GSU31 solution. This
installs the OSM drivers needed for booting an GSU31 volume that
contains the operating system.
Windows NT Installation
Create the Microsoft RAID Device Drivers for the GSU31 solution. This
diskette is also known as the Microsoft Windows NT SCSI miniport
diskette. Installing these device drivers allows an operating system to boot
when installed on an GSU31 volume.
Windows 2000 Installation
Create the Windows 2000 RAID Device Drivers for the GSU31 solution.
This diskette is also known as the GSU31
Windows 2000 Installation
Driver Diskette or the I
O Storage Device Driver Diskette. Installing these
device drivers allows an operating system to boot when installed on an
GSU31 volume.
Create the RAID Device Drivers for the GSU31 solution. This diskette is
also known as the HBA (Host Bus Adapter) Diskette.This installs the OSM
drivers needed for booting an GSU31 volume that contains the operating
system.
