Layout II
A much simpler dual footprint can be achieved using
two TSOP packages and offsetting the pads for each
package. The degree of offset is dependent on the de-
sign rules and will define the total amount of board
space required for this solution. In this example dual
footprint effectively covers 1.5X the same space as a
56-pin TSOP footprint. The tighter the design rules the
closer the two devices can be placed together.
