By selecting bit DOS = 1 of the output byte several independent signal input selections are offered for the decoder
outputs DECL and DECR (pins 18 and 19) via bits DOS1 and DOS0:
a) TUNL and TUNR inputs (pins 1 and 2)
b) EXT1L and EXT1R inputs (pins 5 and 6)
c) SAP input (pin 44)
d) Mute.
These decoder selections are also operable in ‘a(chǎn)ctive standby’ mode (bit STBA = 1 of the control byte).
