A 220 F electrolytic input capacitor is required for proper operation. The electrolytic capacitor must be rated for a minimum of 500 mA
rms of ripple current.

For VO ≤ 3.45V, a 220 F external output capacitor is required for basic operation. When VO > 3.45V the minimum output capacitance
increase to 330
F. The minimum output capacitance requirement increases when TurboTrans (TT) technology is utilized. See related
Application Information for more guidance.

This is the calculated maximum disregarding TurboTrans technology. When the TurboTrans feature is utilized, the minimum output
capacitance must be increased.

When using TurboTrans technology, a minimum value of output capacitance is required for proper operation. Additionally, low ESR
capacitors are required for proper operation. See the application notes for further guidance.
