5. 16-bit Timer (with Event Count Function)
The 16-bit timer consists of a 16-bit down counter, a 16-bit reload register, one input and output pin (TINX,TOTX),
and a control register. Three internal clocks and an external clock can be selected for the input clock. When in
reload mode, a toggled output waveform is output, while in one-shot mode a square wave indicating that the
count is in progress is output pin (TOTX). The input pin (TINX) serves as an event input in event count mode, and
can be used for trigger input or gate input in internal clock mode.
