USER PROGRAM INITIALIZATION
The following sequence describes an example using built-in RAM.

Immediately After Reset Release
1) Assume that 1 MB of external ROM is placed beginning at 0010_0000

. Place the program at this location
in the linker. (The following description can apply to other addresses than this one as well.)
2) Connect addresses A19 to A1 (1 MB) to ROM, other addresses will use CS0.
3) Set the mode pins (MD2, MD1, MD0) to external vectors.
4) Write the reset vector to 001F_FFFC

. Likewise write the mode vector to 001F_FFF8
H
.
1) After reset release, the CPU will attempt to load a mode vector from 000F_FFF8
H
, a reset vector from
000F_FFFC

, however because this will be an external vector, the CPU will have to go externally. However
the CS0 default value causes 1 MB of external ROM to be repeated in external space, so that the mode
vector and the reset vector itself will load the contents written at 001F_FFF8

and 001F_FFFC

ROM.
2) The branch destination is set in the linker to an address in the area 001X_XXXX

, so that subsequent pro-
gram execution will be in this area.
