The local processor connects to the Z16M27 through the
serial interface or can be programmed through an external
EEPROM. The Z16M27 provides for the PCMCIA to ATA/
IDE translation, ATA/IDE to ATA/IDE mapping, or PCMCIA
to three general-purpose maps.
