TheQUICCis32-bitcontrollerthatisanextensionofothermembersoftheTS68300
family.LikeothermembersoftheTS68300family,theQUICCincorporatestheinter-
modulebus(IMB).TheTS68302isanexception,havingan68000busonchip.TheIMB
providesacommoninterfaceforallmodulesoftheTS68300family,whichallowsthe
developmentofnewdevicesmorequicklybyusingthelibraryofexistingmodules.
AlthoughtheIMBdefinitionalwaysincludedanoptionforanon-chip32-bitbus,the
QUICCisthefirstdevicetoimplementthisoption.
TheQUICCiscomprisedofthreemodules:theCPU32+core,theSIM60,andtheCPM.
Eachmoduleutilizesthe32-bitIMB.
