Power-On
Whentheoperatingvoltageisapplied,aPONsignal

A Power-On signal is generated at each raising of
VDD2.Moreover,aPower-Onsignaliscreatedwhen

signal is created by prolongation of the Power-On
signalwith3,4ms.DOandLEDOarelockedduringthe
reset.
Syncpulse
Innormalmode,thesyncpulsesimplypassesthrough
totheoutput.Ifanalarmpulsehaspreviouslybeen
identified,thealarmconditionisclearedandthealarm
outputisswitchedoff.
Alarmpulse
In normal mode, after an alarm pulse has been
identified, the alarm condition is accepted and the
alarmoutputisswitchedon.Iffurtheralarmpulses
areidentified,thealarmconditionissustained.Itis
possible to clear the alarm condition by receiving
a valid sync pulse or by PON or by reached sleep
mode or if continuous light is identified. In the
alarmcondition,datatransfertakesplaceexactlyas
in normal mode. AfterWake-up or PON the Alarm-
Outputisactivatednotbeforetherecognisingofthe
firstSync-Pulse.
Continuouslight
If continuous light is identified on the bus (light
duration > continuous light on time), the electrical
outputDOisblockedinordertoavoidablockadeof
theentirebus.Anexistingalarmconditioniscleared.
The block for DO is cleared if a valid sync or alarm
pulseisidentifiedontheelectricaloropticalinputs
