DESCRIPTION
TheNE556 dual monolithictiming circuit is a highly
stablecontrollercapableofproducingaccuratetime
delaysor oscillation.In the time delay mode of op-
eration,thetime ispreciselycontrolledby oneexter-
nalresistor andcapacitor.For astableoperationas
anoscillator,thefreerunningfrequencyandtheduty
cycleare both accurately controlledwith two exter-
nalresistors and one capacitor.The circuit maybe
triggered and reset on falling waveforms, and the
outputstructure can sourceor sink upto 200mA.
