Bit 4: Break Flag (B Flag)
The B flag is used to indicate that the current interrupt was generated by the BRK instruction. This flag is set to
1 when the BRK instruction is used to generate an interrupt; otherwise it is set to 0.
2.6.6
Bit 5: Index X Mode Flag (T Flag)
The T flag is used to determine whether arithmetic operations are performed between memory and memory
directly or via the accumulator. When the T flag is set to 0, arithmetic operations are performed between the
accumulator and memory. When this flag is set to 1, direct arithmetic operations are enabled between memory
and memory without involving the accumulator.
2.6.7
Bit 6: Overflow Flag (V Flag)
The V flag is set to 1 when an overflow occurs as a result of a signed arithmetic operation. An overflow occurs
if the result exceeds +127(7Fh) or -128(80h). When the BIT instruction is executed, bit 6 of the memory
location operated on by the instruction is stored in this flag.
Overflows do not occur when the result of an addition or subtraction is equal to or smaller than the above
numerical values, or for additions involving values with different signs.

Bit 7: Negative Flag (N Flag)
The N flag is set to 1 if an arithmetic operation or data transfer results in a negative value. When the BIT
instruction is executed, bit 7 of the memory location operated on by the instruction is stored in this flag.

Available machine-resident instructions in the R38F Series are as follows: MUL, DIV, WIT, and STP
