Dropout voltage is defined as the input to output differential at which the output voltage drops 100mV below the nominal value. Drop-out voltage specifi-
cation applies only to output voltages greater than 2.7V. For output voltages below 2.7V, the drop-out voltage is nothing but the input to output differential, since the
minimum input voltage is 2.7V.
