1. Switching regulator
LA49032H has the signal follow-up type self-excitation switching regulator to reduce power dissipation.
The pin 28 SW OUT (regulator output) has the voltage near about +2V of the output voltage, causing operation
following the output voltage.
The loss of output Tr is reduced to the minimum.
TR1 is the external switching Tr.
IC=1A and fT=30 to 50MHz are recommended.
When Tr of fT=100MHz or more is to be used, oscillation may be induced in the switching waveform,
To prevent such oscillation, add the base resistor (RB=10Ω).
L1, D1
For the inductance range of L1 coil, 150 to 220
μH is recommended. The peak current to flow the coil is about 1A.
The component with the current of 1A and small equivalent serial resistor (about 0.4
Ω or less) is recommended.
D1 is the flywheel diode to draw the coil energy. The Schottky barrier diode with small VF is recommended.
C10 is the switching regulator output smoothing capacitor. As this capacitor exerts influence on the self-excitation
stability and regulator efficiency, the capacitor with low equivalent serial resistance and superior temperature
characteristics is recommended. The recommended value is 2.2μF. From the same reason, use R1 2.2
Ω also.
