Description
The L8576B electronic dual subscriber line interface
circuit (SLIC) provides all the functions that are nec-
essary to interface a codec to the tip and ring of a
subscriber loop, integrating two battery feeds and
ringing generators in one low-cost package. The
L8576B device is optimized to meet the needs of
short loop, customer premises applications and fea-
tures balanced ringing from the single battery supply.
The device is built using a 90 V complementary bipo-
lar (CBIC) process. It is available in a 44-pin PLCC
package.
