mendedOperatingConditionsallowsdatatobeclocked
intoanarrayofdisplaysata6.7MHzrate.
Thedecimalpointinputisactivelowtrueandthisdata
islatchedintothedisplaymemoryinthesamefashion
astheBCDdata.ThedecimalpointLEDisdrivenbythe
on-boardIC.
Theblankingcontrolinputonthehexadecimaldisplays
blanks(turnsoff)thedisplayedinformationwithoutdis-
turbingthecontentsofdisplaymemory.Thedisplayis
blankedataminimumthresholdlevelof2.0volts.When
blanked,thedisplaystandbypowerisnominally250mW
atTA=25°C.
Mechanical
Theprimarythermalpathforpowerdissipationisthrough
thedeviceleads.Therefore,toinsurereliableoperation
uptoanambienttemperatureof+85°C,itisimportant
tomaintainacase-to-ambientthermalresistanceofless
than35°Cwatt/deviceasmeasuredontopofdisplaypin
