OE Signal
The OE signal has the following functions:
Clock for Internal Circuits:
Controls the sample and hold circuitry and the controller of the shift matrix
circuit, and switches the output signal at the OE signal rising edge.
Switching of Drive Capability of the Output Buffer:
Determines the current drive capability of the
output buffer;
OE = high: Drives with large current (300 μA, typ)
OE = low: Drives with small current (20 μA, typ)
This function allows the output buffer to operate with large current during the transition of an output
signal, thus shortening its falling time. At the same time it allows the output buffer to operate with small
current while an output signal is stable, lowering current consumption.
The drive current is controlled by bias voltages VbsB (large current) and VbsH (small current).
