This module with on-chip trigger and trace capability is designed to allow expensive emulators to be
replaced by cost-effective serial real-time emulation and a debug cable.

Enables viewing and changing of internal registers and memory while running application

Single step, run or trace application code on the target processor

METROWERKS CODEWARRIOR DEVELOPMENT STUDIO FOR HCS08,

The toolset combines expertise from Motorola, Metrowerks and leading third-party developers and is
expected to establish a new standard for fast and easy MCU development.

Integrates industry-leading CodeWarrior with the development environment.

Provides full-chip simulation and flash programming.

Supports all HCS08 MCUs with an assembler, linker and assembly source level debugger

Supports any HCS08 (less than 4kB of memory) with a highly optimized ANSI C compiler and C
source level debugger.

Supports BDM Multilink and ROM monitor debugging.

Provides additional upgrades to speed development, as needed:

Compiler upgrade to 32 Kbytes or 64 Kbytes memories.

Advanced data visualization software allowing developers to see real-time feedback. The
software utilizes graphic representation such as displays and gauges, while simulating I/O
with graphic representations such as a potentiometer.

Advanced tools such as code coverage, performance analysis and Processor Expert custom
bean-generating Wizard.
