FL4B5B Series
1.0 Description
These surface mount low pass filters are designed for cost effective use in time domain
applications where flat group delay and good return loss are important characteristics.
The standard series covers many communication standards from 622Mb/s to 12.5Gb/s.
BGA and Chip Surface mount packaging are available.
At the left see a 7.5GHz filter used in a 10Gb/s application demonstrating a reduction in
deterministic jitter without significant loss of eye amplitude. This type of filtering is ref-
erenced by many standards and test committees including ITU.
