This family of high-Q bandpass filters is optimized for clock
recovery and other narrowband applications within 10Gbps
fiber optic systems. Be it metro core/access, DWDM, ultra
long-haul or switching, these dielectric resonator-based
cavity filters are an excellent choice. The two-pole response
optimizes the trade-off between insertion loss at the clock
rate, usable bandwidth around the clock frequency and off-
frequency rejection. The broad spurious-free response,
excellent stability over temperature and well-behaved return
loss enable drop-in applicability in lab and field systems
alike. These connectorized filters can readily be customized
for virtually any data or forward error correction rate
desired.
