GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The DK2000 contains the necessary support logic to
completely evaluate the Telecom Interface Modules
(TIMs) made by Dallas Semiconductor. Up to four
TIMs can be connected to T1/E1 test equipment, a
simulated line, looped back on itself or connected to
another TIM. A Motorola MPC8260 processor is used
as an interface to the TIM(s) under evaluation. The
controller firmware can be accessed through a dumb
terminal or the Windows
application supplied with
the kit. User software can be downloaded to on-
board SRAM or FLASH through JTAG/COP or Vision
ICE.
