HORIZONTAL MOUNTING MODULES
This unit, fitting into a subrack similar to a 3U module, is in fact a
6U 20HP subrack on its side. This permits the use of standard
guides, front panels, plug-in units and solves the problem of
housing 6U Eurocards in a 3U subrack.
The horizontal mounting module offers a number of additional
advantages. It can be sub-assembled separately from the main
subrack, and it offers plenum cooling between the end plates.
