East-West output stage
In order to obtain correct tracking of the vertical and horizontal EHT correction, the E-W output stage should be
dimensioned as illustrated in Fig.19.
Resistor Rew determines the gain of the E-W output stage. Resistor Rc determines the reference current for both the
vertical sawtooth generator and the geometry processor. The preferred value of Rc is 39 k which results in a reference
current of 100
A (Vref = 3.9 V).
The value of Rew must be:
Example: With Vref = 3.9 V; Rc =39k and Vscan = 120 V then Rew ≈ 68 k.
