HVS Frames
Cable Glands IP68
The HVS zinc die-cast frames
for the HVS modular inserts
distinguish with a variety of
innovative solutions.
TE developed one piece
frames to prevent the loss of
modules during the installa-
tion and maintenance process
and offers a more reliable and
user-friendly solution.
The moulded pin and socket
contact for ground (first
make last break) ensure addi-
tional stability and improved
performance.
Up to 6 single modules fit
into a size 8 frame whereby
guidances in the frame and
the modules prevent twist
locking. The frames also cap-
ture coding set for up to
36 different coding positions
and prohibit mixing up of
damages due to interchang-
ing of adjoining connectors.
A tool-less insertion and
extraction of modular inserts
simplifies the handling and
reduces tooling costs as well
as installation time.
Customer can individually
configurate the frames which
fit into all particular heavy
duty connector hoods and
housings from TE (see table).
