Crimp Snap-in
General
TMC (Trapezoidal Miniature Connector) series connectors are
used for interfacing applications.
They are used for the standardized V 24 interface, for example.
ERNI supplies the TMC series in housing sizes 9, 15, 25, 37
and 50 pins, with the following connection techniques:
Dip-solder Hand-solder Wire-wrap
Crimp snap-in Solderless press-in
This data sheet gives the technical data and ordering instruc-
tions for crimp snap-in. For the remaining connection modes
there are separate data sheets. The wide range of ERNI cable
housings also fit the Crimp Snap-in connectors.
This data sheet gives ordering instuctions for series KSG 185
cable housings. The ordering instructions for series KSG 183
and KSG 184 are given in the Trapezoidal Connectors Data
Sheet.
The metal connector housings are all-round tin-plated. The
plug connectors (P) are internally laminated in the contact area
for flat shielding contacting. As a result the housing remains
closed at the sides.
