READ DISPLAY DATA
You can read the 8-bit data from display data RAM, specified by the column address and
page address, using this instruction. As the column address is increased by 1 automatically
after each instruction, the microprocessor can read data from the addressed page
continuously. A dummy read is required after loading an address into the column address
register. Display data cannot be read through the serial interface.
WRITE DISPLAY DATA
You can write the 8-bit data of display data from the microprocessor to the RAM location
specified by the column address and page address. The column address is increased by 1
automatically so that the microprocessor can write data to the addressed page continuously.

Indicates the internal status conditions.

BUSY
The device is busy when in internal operation or reset. Any instruction is
rejected until BUSY goes Low.
0 = Chip is active.
1 = Chip is busy.
Indicates the relationship between RAM column address and segment driver.
0 = Reverse direction (SEG131
→
SEG0),
1 = Normal direction (SEG0
→
SEG131)
Indicates display ON/OFF status.
0 = Display ON
1 = Display OFF
Indicates the initialization is in progress by RESETB signal.
0 = Chip is active.
1 = Chip is being reset.
